April 23, 2023, was the 365-day party affiliation deadline for candidates of federal, state attorney, and public defender offices to change party affiliation to run as a party nominee or without party affiliation, as may be applicable. §99.021, F.S.


June 11, 2023, was the 365-day party affiliation deadline for candidates for State Senator, State Representative, County Office, and Special District to change party affiliation to run as a party nominee or without party affiliation, as may be applicable. §99.021, F.S.

Campaign Reporting Schedules

Candidates, Political Committees and Political Party Executive Committees are required to submit regular financial reports that include contributions and expenditures, following the deadlines specified by the Florida Division of Elections:

These reports are also known as Campaign Finance Reports and should be submitted to our office electronically. A Handbook for Candidates and Committees has step-by-step information on How to File Financial Reports Online.

Once you file for office, you will be listed as a candidate on our Announced Candidate page and your financial reports will be publicly posted on our website.
